Report: Arsenal and Chelsea could miss out on Achraf Hakimi, Dortmund and Bayern keen on third spell
Arsenal and Chelsea could be both set to miss out on securing a deal to sign Achraf Hakimi, with officials at Borussia Dortmund they’ll try and bring the full-back in again next term.
Hakimi has been in Germany for the last two seasons. Currently, on loan from Real Madrid, the Moroccan has been hugely influential for Dortmund this season once again.

The 21-year-old has hit double figures in assists this term. That sort of form is eye-catching to anyone, with Premier League scouts keen on bringing Hakimi to England.
However, according to , Dortmund will look to pursue a third deal for the speedster.
“The contractual situation is clear, he will return to Real Madrid for the time being,” Dortmund chief Michael Zorc confirmed.
“Nevertheless, we are trying to ensure that he will play with us again next season. But it is too early to discuss this now.”
Arsenal will be disappointed in the comments from Zorc. The Gunners are said to be in the market for a new right-back, with Hector Bellerin a target for Juventus and Inter Milan. ()

Real Madrid currently have no need for a right-back, with Dani Carvajal their main man. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich are also said to have an interest in the Moroccan. ()
The German champions are said to be ‘very attentive’ to the situation surrounding Hakimi.
Arsenal shopping in packed markets and it could backfire – TBR View
The Gunners are being linked with a number of players already this summer. However, the problem is, so are a lot of other teams.
Furthermore, those teams seem to be in a better financial position than Arsenal. It’s just not boding too well for Mikel Arteta’s men.
Of course, Arsenal are right to shop in the big markets for the best players. The big question is whether they can tempt the likes of Hakimi. Already at Madrid, and now with Bayern and Dortmund in the hunt, it looks an uphill task on this one.
