Report: Amadou Diawara rejects Wolves move as he wants Roma switch
According to reports in Italy, Wolverhampton Wanderers will not be signing Amadou Diawara this summer. that Diawara has rejected a move to Wolves.
Nuno Espirito Santo wanted Diawara to bolster his midfield ranks. Diawara is one of the most highly-rated young midfielders in Italy.
But the Napoli midfielder is not interested in the English project. Despite Wolves being able to offer him European football next season, he wants to stay in Serie A.
Diawara wants to move to the Italian capital. He has his heart set on a move to Roma to join the team which finished sixth in the Italian top-flight last season to qualify for Europe.

The 21-year-old would be leaving second-place Napoli to move to Roma. But he might get more regular playing time after he found himself on the bench more than he would have liked at Napoli.
Diawara, who plays in holding midfield, only managed 13 Serie A outings last season. He wants to move to Roma and continue his career there.
TBR’s view
Diawara is a promising player who will showcase his ability next month in the AFCON. If the Guinea international impresses, Wolves might regret not pulling this off.
But he is far from the finished product and there are plenty of talented alternatives out there. Nuno’s men should not be discouraged as they continue their hunt for a new central midfielder.
