Report: All the signs are now that 52-year-old manager is about to sign a contract to succeed Lage at Wolves
Pedro Martins has now entered advanced talks with Wolves to succeed Bruno Lage as the club’s new manager.
Portuguese outlet claim that everything is moving in the right direction for the 52-year-old to take over at Molineux.
Julen Lopetegui was Wolves’ first choice but he has turned the job down, meaning that other options are now being explored.
The report says that everything suggests that soon there will be an agreement between Martins and Wolves and the search for a new manager will be over.

Martins close to Wolves hotseat
The Portuguese manager recently turned down two bids from Hull City in the Championship, preferring to wait for a more exciting project.
That decision looks like it could be rapidly set to pay off, with a Premier League job awaiting at Molineux if an agreement can be reached.
Wolves sacked Lage after the defeat at West Ham and there would be plenty for Martins to sort out if he did get the job.
There is an injury crisis and a lack of depth at centre-half and Lage unsuccessfully tried to make the transition from a back three to a four this season.
Goals are a real problem, with Raul Jimenez struggling for fitness and a precious lack of creativity and threat in a side which never fully shook off Nuno Espirito Santo’s methods.
And Wolves sit in the bottom three with just one league win all season from nine games and just three goals to their name all season.
