Report: After Leeds opened talks, Everton now enter race to sign £32m player

According to , Everton are now keen to bring Tyler Adams to the Premier League, after Leeds with RB Leipzig.
What’s the story?
Well, it was said that Leeds had begun negotiations over a deal for the man, who worked under Jesse Marsch during the American’s time at RB Leipzig.
Now, Everton are posing a threat to Marsch’s hopes of a reunion, as Frank Lampard looks to spend the Richarlison money on improvements to his side.
The Athletic’s Leeds correspondent Phil Hay has there is a “fair possibility” that Adams moves to Elland Road, and coupled with the fact Marsch knows the player well, Everton have a fight on their hands.
Interestingly, RB Leipzig have also of Xaver Schlager, a player who operates in the same position as the 23-year-old. Therefore, it seems he has been signed to replace the Leeds and Everton target.
Premier League Interest in Adams comes after he made appearances in all competitions for RB Leipzig last season, playing a key role as they finished fourth in the Bundesliga, and also reached the semi-finals of the Europa League.
Leeds hold advantage over Everton

In our view, the fact Adams has worked with Marsch before could be the difference here.
They haven’t just worked together, but the United States international is also very fond of the 48-year-old, who gave him his first professional contract in his early teenage years.
Adams is quoted by the as saying: “Our relationship is so interesting because he gave me my first professional contract when I was 15 years old or 16 years old, in New York. It’s crazy. He joined Salzburg first and then come to Leipzig. And for me it was from New York to Leipzig and then we connected again. So it’s quite funny how that worked, but I’m very happy.”

Moving to England from aboard may be daunting for most 23-year-old players, so the fact Marsch – someone Adams knows well – is already in Yorkshire could sway him towards Elland Road over Goodison Park.
Only time will tell what happens, so be sure to keep an eye on the situation.
