Report: After Botman, Newcastle now could try to beat AC Milan to another signing this summer

Newcastle Unitedജ have been on the lookout for a new striker this summer and .

Eddie Howe’s team completed the signing of Sven Botman earlier this month as he completed his switch from French outfit Lille for £35 million (). AC Milan were also interested in Botmanꦯ, but Newcastle managed to beat the Italian champions to the signing.

🧔And now the Magpies could try and beat Milan to another signing as they are reportedly tracking Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko.

Newcastle could try to beat AC Milan to Sesko

⛦Howe apparently wants to add another striker and winger to his squad this summer but Salzburg would demand a big fee for Sesko.

ܫThe Magpies would face stiff competition for his signature as Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund may move for him next summer, according to the latest update.

✃So, it looks like Newcastle could be aiming to beat AC Milan to another signing after securing Botman already this summer.

🌺Eddie Howe’s men have failed to score in their last two pre-season games during their trip to Austria. And the club have reportedly been trying to add a goalscorer to their squad.

Newcastle missed already out on Hugo Ekitike as he recently signed for French champions Paris Saint-Germain. 𓄧The Magpies had even reportedly agreed a fee and personal terms for Ekitike.

Howe🉐 has also expressed an interest in signing Chelsea’s Armando Broja but Fabrizio Romano🐓 reports that West Ham United are ‘really close’ to signing the striker.

♊At just 19 years of age, and enjoyed a brilliant campaign for Salzburg last season. The Slovenia international scored 11 goals and put up seven assists in 37 games for the Austrian side.

🦩Howe will be desperate to land another striker to provide competition for Callum Wilson at St. James’ Park. And after their woes in front of goal during pre-season, the Englishman will be hoping to sign a forward sooner rather than later.
