It is believed the Milan giants have little faith in Andrea Conti and could well move for Aurier to replace the 26-year-old full-back.

Aurier has hardly covered himself in glory since being with Spurs. A number of erratic displays and moments of ill-discipline and petulance have led many Spurs fans to voice their concerns.

The Ivory Coast international, who has previously to PSG due to ‘unfinished business’, could well be open to a move away from London.

Despite playing for most of the season, Aurier started just one of the last three games prior to football being suspended.

Aurier arrived at Spurs for a fee of around £23m () in 2017. He’s since stepped into the role as a first-choice right-back after seeing Kieran Trippier move on.

Spurs though, and Jose Mourinho, could well choose to cash in on Aurier. The club have also with making a move for Zeki Celik. That, of course, would leave Aurier free to leave one would presume.

Regardless of his talent, something hasn’t quite been right about Aurier ever since he arrived in north London.

His lack of discipline and petulance can be a worry at times. Jose Mourinho does not need that in his squad.

AC Milan, on the other hand, remains a massive club. The seven-time Champions League winners could well prove a tempting move for the Spurs man.

It could be for the best, too. Aurier would get himself a new club while Spurs would be free to replace their man with who they see fit for Mourinho.
