Report: AC Milan approach Wolves and offer Andre Silva in £34m deal

AC Milan are weighing up their options as they look to sell Andre Silva this summer. And the Italian club have offered Silva to Wolverhampton Wanderers, .

Silva’s future is up in the air with AC Milan intent on selling him and Sevilla reluctant to turn his loan spell into a permanent transfer.

The 23-year-old joined Sevilla on loan with a view to a €39m permanent deal but the Spanish club do not believe he is worth that much.

During his season in La Liga, Silva has scored nine league goals (and a further two in the cup) but his form has dipped dramatically in 2019.

Sevilla have already signed Silva’s replacement in Moanes Dabour, who will join them after his loan spell at Red Bull Salzburg expires.

AC Milan now have a conundrum. They want to sign Florian Thauvin from Marseille but need to shift Silva to facilitate that move.

This is why the Serie A heavyweights have approached Wolves, as well as Monaco and Valencia, to offer Silva this summer.

All three clubs have links with super-agent Jorge Mendes, who represents Silva, and he could broker a deal for €39m (just less than £34m).

Wolves have already spent big money on making Raul Jimenez’s move permanent so it remains to be seen whether Silva is a priority.

The Portugal international is a highly-rated young striker but his form and price tag could put Wolves off.
