Report: Aaron Ramsey could leave Juventus for either Crystal Palace or West Ham

Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey could secure a sensational move to either West Ham or Crystal Palace, according to a report from

The Welsh midfielder is said to be among a number of players Juve are willing to let go this summer as they look to clear some of their wages and restructure the squad for their new boss, Andrea Pirlo.

Ramsey has struggled to have any sort of impact since securing a big contract in Turin after leaving Arsenal. The claimed that the deal was worth around £400k-a-week to the Welshman back in 2019.

But his future would appear to lie away from Serie A, with English clubs now on red-alert. And Gazzetta has named both the Hammers and Palace as potential destinations for Ramsey.

Both clubs are in need of reinforcements and would no doubt welcome the addition of Ramsey, who has 58 caps and 14 goals for his country.

Surely this has to be a loan, the wages are ridiculous – TBR View

There is no way West Ham or Crystal Palace are going to be paying £400k-a-week to land Aaron Ramsey.

It’s not that he isn’t a good footballer or wouldn’t offer quality, it’s just that those sorts of figures are simply ludicrous, especially in the current climate.

The only way this deal happens is on a loan with Juventus still subsidising some of the wages. Anything other than that would represent bad business for both Palace and West Ham.

For Ramsey, he definitely needs a move to reignite his career so he’ll be hoping that someone takes a punt on him.
