Report: £85k-a-week Arteta signing now considering leaving Arsenal; his former club are keen
Arsenal could attract a loan bid for Pablo Mari from Flamengo in January, that the defender could look to leave in the transfer window.
Mari has endured a tough start to the campaign. He started both of the Gunners’ opening two Premier League games.

However, he has not featured since the first international break of the season with Mikel Arteta putting together a superb partnership in Benjamin White and Gabriel Magalhaes.
In fact, the 28-year-old – who earns £85,000-a-week, – has not been in a match day squad since the 1-0 win over Burnley in September.
And with that, Mari could now consider leaving the Emirates in the near future.

, he could consider his future should he continue to remain on the periphery of the squad.
Flamengo are keen on re-signing the Spaniard on loan. But it is noted that covering his wages would be a problem for any admirer.
Arsenal would benefit from loaning Pablo Mari out in January
As things stand, Arsenal may struggle to attract too many permanent bids for Mari. He previously displayed his quality. However, he was never able to enjoy a consistent run in the side.
With that, the Gunners may not be offered the kind of fee that they would ideally hope for.
So a loan move in January may make sense for all parties. Right now, it looks unlikely that Arsenal will miss him too much.
And Mari can get back to playing regularly elsewhere. It also puts him in the shop window ahead of the summer.
Signing Mari was hardly a mistake from Arsenal. But it does appear that they have moved to the next level during his time at the club.
