Spurs’ search for a new permanent manager continues following Jose Mourinho’s sacking last week.
So far, a number of top coaches linked with the Tottenham role have either committed their futures elsewhere or are reportedly not interested.

Julian Nagelsmann is going to Bayern Munich, Erik ten Hag has penned a new contract at Ajax, Brendan Rodgers is apparently not keen, and Maurizio Sarri is reportedly going to Roma.
Benitez remains linked with the job, and according to the , “would consider an approach”, as would Massimiliano Allegri.
The Spaniard is currently out of work, leaving Chinese Super League side Dalian Professional by mutual consent earlier this year.
Benitez boasts an illustrious CV, having managed at Real Madrid and won trophies at Valencia, Liverpool, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Napoli and Newcastle United.
The 61-year-old famously had a long-running feud with Mourinho years ago which, while at Liverpool, included him : “We have our special ones here, they are our fans, who always play with their hearts.”
TBR View:
Benitez is a high-calibre manager who would certainly suit Spurs in terms of his credentials and silverware won.
He famously showed loyalty for Newcastle, helping them back up to the Premier League for the Championship and sticking with them for years despite having such a tight budget.
Spurs fans could do with a manager they can truly get behind, and Benitez is certainly a good shout.
