Report: 24-year-old Liverpool player is ‘very much in demand’ this summer; ‘everyone loves him’
Liverpool defender Nat Phillips is reportedly in demand this summer with the Reds open to selling the 24-year-old centre-back.
, senior Liverpool sources have indicated that the Bolton-born defender is on the radar for multiple clubs. Marko Grujic and Harry Wilson are also likely to leave this summer.
Phillips could leave following the signing of Ibrahima Konate and the returns of Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez.

The Liverpool source told the Athletic: “Nat Phillips is very much in demand, which is understandable.
“We’d be reluctant sellers, given how well he did last season and how much everyone loves him. So it would have to be right for Nat too.”
Indeed, the defender was key in Liverpool clinching UEFA Champions League football last season. The Reds finished third in the Premier League standings after a strong run of results in the remaining games of the campaign.

And Phillips became integral to the Reds in the second half of the campaign. Injuries ran rampant in the defence.
Yet with the centre-back now getting a good taste of top-flight English football, it is understandable why Liverpool and Phillips would be open to a transfer this summer.
The 24-year-old has proven to be a solid player at Premier League level. And with Liverpool needing to sell, Phillips could recoup some decent funds for the club in a summer where the Reds need to bring in first-team signings to replace key areas.
