Report: £21m Tottenham player agrees to loan move, he’ll fly out and leave once Spurs make signing

Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil has now agreed to a loan move to Valencia, .

Gil has struggled to break into Antonio Conte’s side since making the switch from Sevilla last summer for a fee worth £21 million ().

The 21-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Valencia and now looks set to return to La Liga once again.

The youngster enjoyed a decent spell at Los Che and despite being named as a substitute in Spurs’ last two games, he doesn’t look likely to break into Conte’s side anytime soon.

Gil agrees to loan move

And now the Spaniard will return to the La Liga outfit, but only once Conte has replaced the player.

When Tottenham secure a replacement for Gil, he’ll fly out to Spain and complete another season-long loan move to Valencia.

Gil is clearly not a player that Conte sees as part of his plans at this moment in time. The Spain U21 international is a talented player, but there are doubts over his suitability to Premier League football.

The youngster will certainly benefit from playing first-team football over the course of the season.

After a successful spell at Valencia, it seems like the ideal move for Gil to continue to develop.

But in order for Gil to complete his move back to Valencia, Spurs will seemingly need to land a replacement first.

Conte is clearly keen on having depth in every position this season and will not let players leave without replacing them first.

The news should excite Tottenham fans because if reports are true, the club could now be targeting another attacking player.
