Report: £20m-rated player has told his club’s hierarchy he wants to join Leeds
Leeds United have been linked with Brenden Aaronson over the past few weeks.
initially claimed the Whites were just one of ‘many clubs’ eyeing the Red Bull Salzburg playmaker.
Since then, Leeds reportedly made two offers for Aaronson, though they were both rejected.

First, the Whites attempted with an initial £15million bid, before upping their offer to £20million.
Now, it looks as though Leeds will be successful in landing Aaronson – though they may have to wait.
According to , there is an acceptance at Elland Road that they can tie up a deal for the 21-year-old.
However, Leeds are reportedly unlikely to get their man in the January transfer window.
Director of football Victor Orta has reportedly gone to Austria for negotiations for a player Marcelo Bielsa is eager to bring to Elland Road.
However, it seems Salzburg have little desire to sell this month. Understandable, given they’re preparing to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Aaronson has also told Salzburg officials that he wants to make the move to Elland Road, added the report.
But with a deal off the table this month, the United States international is seemingly willing to wait to land his dream move.
Now, the Leeds hierarchy is confident they can sign Aaronson – but it’s likely it’ll be at the end of the season.

Leeds could do with reinforcements now, but still decent news – TBR View
Leeds haven’t had the best of seasons and remain too close to the Premier League relegation zone for comfort.
In addition, the Whites have endured a real crisis in terms of player availability.
Therefore, it’s a shame that Aaronson probably won’t join Leeds until the end of the season.
However, he’s a great player who’ll bolster Bielsa’s ranks considerably, so better late than never.
