Leander Dendoncker’s £10 million move to Aston Villa is nearly done and it could open the door for Arsenal to go and sign Douglas Luiz, .

The Gunners have enjoyed a successful transfer window after bringing in quality players like Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko.

But it seems that Arsenal are not done yet and are looking to strengthen their midfield.

Mikel Arteta has been hit with a midfield injury crisis over the past week after Mohamed Elneny and Thomas Partey have been sidelined.

And now the Gunners could seal a late move for the Villa midfielder.

Dendoncker transfer could open door for Arsenal

Arsenal could now be getting closer to landing Luiz as Villa edge nearer to signing Dendoncker for £10 million, .

If the deal goes through, it could open the door for the Brazilian to make the switch to North London.

Luiz has been a key player for Villa since making the switch from Manchester City back in 2019.

But with under a year left on his current deal, the Villains may be forced to sell one of their best players.

The Brazilian is a very similar player to Granit Xhaka and would provide Arteta with extra depth in his midfield.
