Report: £10m-rated Tottenham player may be ‘tempted’ to PL rivals to seek reunion
Tottenham player Cameron Carter-Vickers may reportedly be open to joining interested club Newcastle United.
, Premier League club Newcastle are considering the 23-year-old Spurs owned-defender.
Newcastle’s assistant Graeme Jones has reportedly recommended the centre-back as a possible target.
Carter-Vickers previously worked alongside Jones during spells with Luton Town and Bournemouth, so may now be “tempted” to form a reunion with him at St James’ Park.
Additionally, Championship side Bournemouth are frontrunners to sign Carter-Vickers this summer, but the Newcastle interest now has an added element because of the Jones factor.
Magpies coach Jones is a highly-rated man who’s with the England camp this summer as part of Gareth Southgate’s staff.
previously claimed that Carter-Vickers is valued around £10million this summer. Apparently, Newcastle, Bournemouth and Anderlecht have all had discussions with Spurs about the defender.

Tottenham should make good money on Carter-Vickers
For Spurs, selling Carter-Vickers this summer makes sense.
The powerful centre-half was super out on loan at Bournemouth during the second half of last season.
It seems a stretch too far to expect him to break into the Spurs first team, but a proper chance in the Premier League seems reasonable.
Spurs should feel confident they can earn their £10million price tag.
Bournemouth are supposedly in pole position. However, Jones is an exciting young coach that should give Newcastle some kind of leverage.
Meanwhile, Spurs need to focus on their own centre-back position for next year.
They would surely love to find a new version of Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen. A lot of the team’s previous success was down to them.
