‘Reminds me of prime Cole’: Some Arsenal fans praise ace who Arteta and Edu reportedly want to sell
Arsenal fans were impressed with Sead Kolasinac’s performance for the Gunners in their 2-1 loss to Hibernian yesterday.
The Bosnian defender made his first start for the club since returning from loan this summer. Kolasinac spent the second half of last season with Bundesliga side Schalke 04, who finished bottom of the table.
As , Mikel Arteta and Edu view the left-back as one of the players the club want to sell this summer.

Furthermore, Kolasinac has a year remaining on his current deal. And with the defender earning £100,000-a-week and the Gunners recently signing Nuno Taveres, the 27-year-old is surplus to requirements.
Moreover, with Kieran Tierney on extended leave following Euro 2020 and Tavares uninvolved in yesterday’s match, Kolasinac starting for Arsenal in Edinburgh.
And to the surprise of some fans, the defender impressed despite the 2-1 loss to the Gunners. Indeed, Kolasinac was sharp in his attacking runs and almost assisted an opening goal for Reiss Nelson in the first half.
Here’s what some Arsenal fans had to say on Twitter about Kolasinac’s performance against Hibernian…
Watching Kolasinac and Willian on the left wing reminds me of prime Cole and Pires 😍😍😍

Our first team might be good but some our reserves / substitutes are utter shit. No way are the likes of Kolasinac, Willian, Nketiah, Bellerin, even Cedric today, etc. anywhere near what we need in this team.

Kolasinac looks decent too

Nelson and Kolasinac have been pretty solid so far.

Impressed by Ainsley, Clarke and Eddie (minus the miss). Kolasinac hasn’t been too bad either. Nelson has been decent at times but looks a bit rusty. Been a bit underwhelmed by Aubameyang, would like to see him get the ball a bit more and Willian has been completely anonymous.

Kolasinac looking pretty decent not gonna lie

The likes of Napoli and Fenerbahce are reportedly keen on Kolasinac this summer.
And with over a month of the window left to go, there is a chance that the former Schalke star will make a permanent move away from Arsenal.
