Reading boss Veljko Paunovic denies reported Tottenham and Leeds target Michael Olise’s £8m release clause
Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a potential move for Reading midfielder Michael Olise in recent weeks, wi༒th Leeds United also credited with an interest.
Spurs are keen with Olise carrying an appa꧃rent £8 million relea💃se clause in his contract at the Madejski Stadium.
Leeds have also been linked with Olise, as.
That £8 million price-tag will undoubtedly be a major reason behind any interest, as well as Olise’s𓄧 obv🌜ious talent and stunning form in Reading’s season so far.

However, his current manager appears obl🍌ivious to t💙his apparent clause.
Spea𝔍king after the Royals defeated Luton Town this weekend, Veljko Paunovic made it clear that he had no knowledge of such a low release clause.
“No, I’m not aware of it,” Paunovic“The most important thing for Michael is💜 that he has found a place where he is being protected, supported, playing games more than ever, and is being given opportunities.
“Every single player is exposed⛎ to the market and to the teams that have needs so somebody may pull the t♛rigger.
“Are we going to be affected by that? It is possible, but I am confident and I am working with ꦯhim o🌼n a long-term [basis].”
Now it could be the Reading boss has not been made aware of such a clause. But if accurate, then Tottenham and Leeds will need to stump up much more than £8 million.⛦
claimed that Reading ♕would be seeking £30 million at least for the Tottenham and Leeds target.
Both clubs will be hoping that Paunovic 🍰is simply not party to the release clause information in his player’s contracts. But that seems an unlikely scenario.
