Raul Jimenez reacts as Patrick Cutrone leaves Wolves to join Valencia
Patrick Cutrone is set for his second loan spell of the season after leaving Wolverhampton Wanderers to join Spanish side Valencia until the end of the season and Raul Jimenez has reacted on Instagram to the news.
Cutrone, 23, spent the first half of the season on loan at Fiorentina having struggled to make an impact at Wolves following his £16million () in the summer of 2019. He scored just three goals in 24 games last season.
A one-time Italy international, Cutrone managed to find the back of the net in 13 appearances for La Viola during the first half of the season but following a head injury suffered by Jimenez he was recalled to Molineux.
He played four times as he competed with Fabio Silva for a place up front, but failed to score and has now joined Valencia with Wolves signing Willian Jose from Real Sociedad. He posted on Instagram.
Despite playing for two clubs already this season, it appears Cutrone will be allowed to play for Valencia. The Spanish side currently sit in 14th place in La Liga and are managed by ex-Watford manager Javi Gracia.
Responding on Cutrone’s Instagram, Mexican striker Jimenez wished the Italian all the best having failed to replace his absence at Wolves. It remains to be seen if a permanent move occurs in the summer.
