Raul Jimenez comments on reported interest from Liverpool and other clubs
Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez has that Liverpool’s reported interest in his services “is something very cool” – but the Reds are not alone in their pursuit of the Mexican.
Jimenez, 29, has been in sensational for Wolves this season – scoring a whopping 22 goals and laying on 10 assists. He has enjoyed two excellent seasons in England, scoring 17 and creating eight in last season’s campaign.
A £30million signing ) for Wolves in the summer of 2018, he was one of the Premier League’s best centre-forwards – and that has seen him linked with a number of high-profile clubs.
Jimenez said it is “cool” to be a target for Liverpool, both Manchester clubs, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus – he is a Liverpool fan – and is now discussing a potential move to the club.
“It is something very cool, I do not know if they will be true, they are rumors. Teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus , Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool. They are important in footballing history,” Jimenez said.

TBR’s view – Jimenez would be a sensational Liverpool signing
Especially if Divock Origi departs. The Belgian striker is one of six Liverpool players nearing the exit door as per and Liverpool would certainly need to replace the form Lille ace if he leaves.
Jurgen Klopp would need a striker that can offer him a plan B story of style. One that is good in the air and excellent inside the 18-yard box and Jimenez has proven he is more than capable of providing both traits. If available, a no-brainer.
