Rashford rise is a kick in the teeth for toothless Everton
Marcus Rashford’s is set for talks over a new deal with Manchester United ().
The Englishman has hit a new gear of late after struggling at the start of the season.
Following Jose Mourinho’s dismissal and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s arrival, Rashford has been as clinical as he’s ever been in front of goal.

He’s scored nine Premier League goals this season, six of which have come under the Norwegian.
Rashford is really looking like the real deal having lost his way a little, and a team that may be kicing themselves as he prepares to enter long-term contract talks at Old Trafford is Everton, who were linked with a move for the player last summer.
What might have been
that Everton were one of three clubs hopeful of taking Rashford on loan.

Mourinho blocked Rashford from leaving the club and that looked to be the wrong decision for the first few months of the season.
But Solskjaer’s arrival has lit a fire under the striker, leaving Everton to wonder just what might have been.
The Toffees’ failure is compounded by the fact that they have been fairly toothless in front of goal on many occasions this season.

Richarlison has been shoehorned up front because Cenk Tosun and Dominic Calvert-Lewin have failed to impress.
There will now be no chance of Everton signing Rashford, who looks destined to lead the line at United for the forseeable.
