‘Rapid’ Arsenal attacker is now expected to stay at the Emirates Stadium today

Amario Cozier-Duberry is reportedly set to stay at Arsenal this January transfer window after rumours that Wolves were interested in the winger.

The 18-year-old attacker is one of Arsenal’s most exciting academy prospects and a youngster that many supporters believe could one day be in Mikel Arteta’s first-team.

As a result of his potential, Wolves have reportedly been interested in signing Cozier-Duberry this window, with Arsenal already losing the likes of Lino Sousa and Bradley Ibrahim from their academy.

Yet , Arsenal will not allow Cozier-Duberry to leave this window, with Reuell Walters also expected to stay in north London beyond today’s deadline.

, the north London side would have been foolish to let Cozier-Duberry leave for a Premier League rival this month.

And this update is an encouraging one for the Gunners, with Cozier-Duberry a player who could potentially breakout in the coming months at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal’s academy has become something of a gold mine in recent years with the breakthroughs of Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Folarin Balogun.

And Cozier-Duberry could easily become the latest youngster to emerge from the academy and become a superstar, with Arsenal clearly big fans of the teenage attacker.

Whilst a loan move might be beneficial for Cozier-Duberry, Arsenal not offloading the attacker is an encouraging sign for the future, with the winger a potential sensation in the making in north London.
