Report: ‘Amazing’ Leeds player is sat waiting to fly out of England, his agent has agreed personal terms elsewhere

The saga surrounding Raphinha leaving Leeds United looks set to end in the coming days with the Brazilian having agreed a deal with Barcelona.

The Catalan club are somehow finding the finances to sign Raphinha, despite obvious other issues and apparent owing of wages to players like Frenkie de Jong. However, a deal seems to be all but done and according to , Raphinha is now just waiting to fly to Spain to conclude the deal.

It’s that his agent, Deco, has sorted personal terms with the Catalan giants and it’s now just a case of the formalities of the deal being signed off. For Leeds, it will see another big chunk of money come into the club after they sold Kalvin Phillips for big money to Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Leeds have made moves in the market themselves to cushion the blow. The likes of Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson have arrived, while more are expected to arrive once Raphinha’s sale is confirmed.

The ‘amazing‘ Raphinha has been a shining light for Leeds ever since signing from Rennes. The Whites are expected to bring in around £60m+ when the deal is eventually signed off.

Despite the obvious want to keep Raphinha at Elland Road, this hasn’t half rumbled on for some time now and Leeds will be quite pleased it’s coming to an end.

He’s a massive loss to the team, we all know that. But Leeds have still managed to get over £100m for Raphinha and Phillips, which isn’t bad business at all really.

Jesse Marsch will be hoping his new signings settle in quickly and cushion the blow of two big players going. If not, then it could be a long old season.
