Rangers star Alfredo Morelos thinks Liverpool are interested in signing him
Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has told he will move to Liverpool should a bid be forthcoming during the summer.
The 23-year-old thinks that due to Steven Gerrard’s affiliation with Liverpool, it seems only natural that he will be in discussions with Jurgen Klopp.
Morelos has been terrific during his time at Rangers. He has 76 goals in 128 games, with 28 of those coming during the 2019/20 campaign.

There is no concrete interest from Liverpool at this stage but the Colombian international believes the runaway Premier League leaders want him.
“I think Liverpool are aware, it’s easy to imagine with the coach we have, who played all that time in Liverpool.
“I imagine he must have friends, managers who come to watch the games and are on the lookout. Other teams are watching as well; we have to keep doing things right.
“There are many clubs interested, let’s wait until the end of the season to see what leagues are asking for me and make a decision.”
Morelos has proved quality for the Gers and will surely embark on an adventure to a top European league at some point.
Given the number of goals he has scored, there is no way Rangers will be able to keep hold of him for much longer.
There has previously been doubts over his professionalism and his red card tally stands at seven during his three years at Ibrox.
TBR View – Liverpool move is a pipedream for Morelos
It seems highly unlikely that the Reds will be making a switch for the Colombia international any time soon.
This smacks of Morelos combining 2+2 and reaching a figure in the region of 100!

Names like Timo Werner, Kylian Mbappe and Jadon Sancho have been mentioned by pundits as players the World Champions should target.
Signing Morelos just doesn’t seem to make much sense.
For starters, he doesn’t fit into the style which Klopp tends to play and having never played in a top European league, he’d represent a massive risk.
Liverpool’s stock as World and European Champions is sky high and it doesn’t seem likely that they will be shopping for players like Morelos.
