Celtic and Rangers are ready to battle it out to sign Motherwell youngster Jake Hastie, .

The 19-year-old has scored five goals in seven games since returning from his loan spell but his contract expires this summer.

Motherwell have offered the Scottish winger a three-year deal but Celtic, Rangers and several English clubs hope to poach him.

Gerrard has singled out January signing Glen Kamara for praise, describing him as a “bargain”, .

The 23-year-old recently completed a permanent move to Rangers from tomorrow’s opponents Dundee and he has played three times so far.

: “I know it’s a bargain. He’s a top player. He’s been schooled very well at Arsenal. Neil McCann also did an excellent job to take him to the next level while he was at Dundee.”
