A switch to Rangers in January could finally kick-start the career of talented young Liverpool forward Dominic Solanke.
After choosing to make the move from Chelsea to Liverpool upon the expiration of his contract at Stamford Bridge, the England under-21 forward has failed to make much of an impression at Anfield.
Bagging only one goal for Liverpool so far on the last day of the 2017-18 season against Brighton, Solanke has done little to justify a compensation fee .
Despite his goalscoring exploits in England’s youth teams, Solanke is unlikely to find consistent opportunities available for him at Liverpool, with Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge ahead of him in the pecking order.
The Englishman was also shunned for Divock Origi in Liverpool’s recent defeat to Red Star Belgrade, and youngster Rhian Brewster will be champing at the bit to get some first-team minutes under his belt when he returns from an ankle injury.

With the opportunity for regular football and the backing of incredible supporters, Solanke could thrive in the Scottish Premiership.
