Rangers legend Nacho Novo has sent a message to Billy Gilmour after the former Gers youngster produced an incredible performance in the FA Cup on Tuesday night.
Gilmour seemed to steal the show at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea beat Liverpool to reach the quarter-final.

The 18-year-old was making only his third start for the Blues following his move from Ibrox.
But after the 2-0 win, it would be no surprise to see Gilmour add to his tally of starts before the campaign concludes.

He was excellent on the ball and he was not at all afraid to get stuck in. And of course, he produced a moment of magic as he nutmegged Fabinho in the middle of the park.
It was a performance that was lauded by a large number of Rangers fans on social media. And Novo has joined them by commenting on his performance on Twitter…
Class⚽️⚽️⚽️well done wee man

There was also a message of congratulations from another former Gers youngster. Serge Atakayi – who left Ibrox at the end of 2019 – also sent a message to Gilmour in response to his Instagram post…
It is obviously a shame for Rangers that Gilmour will not realise his potential with them. However, a lot of supporters will be delighted that he has been vindicated in the move that he did make.
He looks destined for a fantastic career. And Rangers can take a lot of pride in that.
