Sheyi Ojo made his league debut for Rangers in the 2-1 win over Kilmarnock. Rangers left it late but Connor Goldson sealed the points with an injury-time header.
Earlier in the game, Scott Arfield gave Steven Gerrard’s men the lead before Stephen O’Donnell’s 83rd-minute equaliser. But Rangers kept their nerve and scored a late winner to get all three points on the opening weekend of the season.
However, Rangers fans were unimpressed with Ojo’s cameo. The English winger, who is on loan from Liverpool, started the game and lasted 78 minutes before he was hauled off for Jordan Jones.

Ojo was unable to get the better of the Kilmarnock defence and make an impression in the game. It was a disappointing start for the 22-year-old, who will naturally draw comparisons with last year’s loan star Ryan Kent.
With Kent back at Liverpool and Daniel Candeias now in Turkey, Ojo and Jones have the chance to show Gerrard why they can be the new-look wide options. But Ojo will need to improve after a slow start to life in the Scottish Premiership. Here are some fans reacting to Ojo’s display.
Ojo will be the new Worrall, plays when he doesn’t deserve to ?

Jones contributed more in 12 minutes than ojo did in 78.

Very disappointed in Ojo today. Expected a lot more. Reminded me of Ejaria

100%! Ojo was worse than a man down! Didn’t show for the ball, held onto the ball for too long when he did have it & he pulled out of every 50/50

I don’t get why we got rid of Middleton, Ojo don’t look up to much.. time will tell.

Mate he pulled out of every 75/25 that was in his favour. I think that was one of the worst individual performances I’ve seen in a long time.
