Rangers have topped their season off with an impressive 2-0 win against Celtic at Ibrox. Steven Gerrard’s side have clearly closed the gap on their rivals this season, picking up two wins against the Bhoys over the course of the campaign.
One of the reasons for this has been sensational recruitment by the club. Plenty of Gerrard’s newbies stole the show this morning.
Nikola Katic was superb in defence, Scott Arfield was exquisite in midfield. But it is Glen Kamara who has fans talking once again.
The Finland international joined the club from Dundee in January. The fee involved, was just £50,000 for the midfielder. His contract at Dens Park was expiring in the summer and Dundee had little bargaining power when it came to his transfer.
He has since become an instant hit at Rangers with a series of sensational performances in the heart of midfield. Today was no different.
Kamara had Celtic, and Scott Brown in particular, chasing shadows and played a key role in Rangers’ second goal of the day.
Fans are clearly excited about what Kamara can do for them next season after the impact he has already made in Glasgow…

Midfield and in particular kamara were outstanding today. Got our tactics spot on and the desire we showed was excellent. Great end to the season and hopefully keep the momentum going into next year with a huge summer ahead with recruitment. WATP ?⚪️?????
