A number of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to express their shock that the Gers are interested in bringing Xavi Simons to Ibrox.
Simons has long been touted as one of the most exciting prospects anywhere in Europe. After nine years at La Masia with Barcelona, he joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2019.

Unfortunately, his time at `Parc des Princes is yet to really ignite. He has made his first-team debut for Mauricio Pochettino’s side. However, he has only played for the senior side on two occasions.
He has not featured once this term, only making the bench for one Ligue 1 game so far. And with that, doubts over his future are now forming.
that PSG would like to keep Simons and tie the Dutchman down to a new contract. However, Rangers are seemingly keen to throw a spanner in the works.

It is claimed that the Gers want the 18-year-old. And they have even opened talks to sign the youngster, with a pre-contract deal able to be agreed from January.
‘Please please please make this happen’: Rangers fans react to Xavi Simons reports
It would be an incredible statement if Rangers landed Simons. So it should probably come as no surprise that plenty of the fans are pretty stunned about the prospect of bringing Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s countryman to Ibrox.
Many do not believe that there is any chance of a deal. Meanwhile, others have insisted that Ross Wilson deserves huge credit should he pull off such a move.
With that in mind, here is what some of the Rangers fans make of the reports…
