Rangers fans react on Twitter to Sheyi Ojo’s cup display
Sheyi Ojo may have been Rangers’s hero when they met Feyenoord last week, but plenty of Gers fans have criticised the winger’s performance in the League Cup win over Livingston on Wednesday night.
Hearts await the Gers at Hampden Park after Steven Gerrard’s men won 1-0 at the Tony Macaroni Arena. It was a tough night for the Light Blues, who needed a deflected Glen Kamara strike to reach the semi-final.

And Ojo looked to be one of the players who struggled. The Liverpool loanee seemed to find it difficult to get into the game, and squandered chances to put the contest to bed.
He had a golden opportunity to set Alfredo Morelos up for a simple chance, but clearly frustrated the Colombian as the opportunity fizzled out.

And it is not only Morelos who was wound up by Ojo, as plenty of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to express their disappointment with his performance against Livi.
Ojo has made a mixed start to life in Glasgow since arriving from Liverpool. As mentioned, he scored an outstanding goal in last week’s Europa League group-stage opener. But those moments of quality make nights like Wednesday all the more agonising.
The winger’s decision-making has been slammed. And while some have defended the youngster, a large section of the Ibrox faithful believe that he should be doing so much more.
Here is what some of the Rangers fans were saying about Ojo’s performance against Wednesday’s win…
The one Ojo set a new land speed record then decided not whip it across for Bufalo is why he will frustrate the life out us all season. Morelos shook his head in disgust for a good minute and a half.

Ojo has been garbage for months, a goal against Feyenoord doesn’t change that. He was brutal against them apart from the goal.

I actually think Ojo’s started well for us, he looks dangerous and let’s be honest if he was finishing every chance and taking the right option every time he wouldn’t be here at all

Ojo is going to be the classic enigma. He’ll score some crackers but his decision making, and particularly his final ball, is woeful at times.

Does this Ojo ever get out of first gear? Guy is almost backwards
— Alan Patrick (@A_Patrick85)
Hard fought victory against a decent team. A think they’ll finish at least top 6. Davis was immense when he came on. Ojo frustrating with his half hearted defending and decision making. As the old saying goes, job done. Onto the semis ?⚪??

A swear to god Ojo is the most infuriating player a’ve ever watched never makes the right decision man ?
