A number of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Russell Martin amid reports that the Gers are interested in bringing the 35-year-old to Ibrox as their new manager.
It appears that Rangers are set to lose Steven Gerrard. The 41-year-old is closing in on becoming the next Aston Villa boss.

It is a huge blow for the Gers, who lifted the Scottish Premiership title under Gerrard’s leadership. He also helped the side reestablish themselves on the European stage, with a couple of extremely impressive Europa League runs.
Replacing him is going to be incredibly difficult. And it seems that Martin is one of the names on their radar.

In fact, that enquiries have been made for the Swansea City boss. It is noted that he is catching the eye of several clubs, including the Gers.
He has made a bright start to life at the Liberty Stadium. The Swans are one of several sides within touching distance of the play-offs in the Championship.
His teams have adopted a possession-based style. No side in the Championship has had more of the ball than Swansea so far, .
And he has done it without being able to spend much money. Swansea lost more key players over the summer.
It does appear that he has an exciting future ahead. Nevertheless, plenty of Rangers fans are not happy about the links.
Of course, he endured a torrid loan spell at Ibrox during the latter stages of his playing career.
‘Just no’: Rangers fans react to Russell Martin reports
And given that he is inexperienced as a manager, there are clearly worries that Rangers may appoint him.
Having said that, some are more open to the idea. Obviously, Gerrard arrived with no managerial experience before his brilliant spell.
With that in mind, here is what some of the Rangers fans make of the links with Russell Martin…
I will cry, not russel Martin, no.
