Rangers were knocked out of the Europa League despite a valiant effort during a 1-0 defeat against Bayer Leverkusen.
The 4-1 aggregate victory for the German side was thoroughly deserved and the tie was really lost during the 3-1 reversal at Ibrox.
Moussa Diaby put the seal on the tie for Leverkusen, firing home just six minutes into the second half for the hosts.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard won’t be too disgruntled and he will hope his team can take such fighting spirit into their league campaign.
There were some positives. Brendan Barker earned a rare outing, Filip Helander played for the first time since December and youngster Nathan Patterson earned a cameo off the bench.
It wasn’t to be for the Gers, although their efforts in this year’s competition means that from 2021/22, Scotland will have two places up for grabs in the Champions League.
