Rangers fans react on Twitter to Billy Gilmour’s display in Chelsea’s FA Cup win
A number of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Billy Gilmour’s performance as the 18-year-old seemed to steal the show in the FA Cup.
Gilmour was making only his third start for Chelsea on Tuesday night. And it appeared that he could not have been handed a more daunting task with Liverpool coming to Stamford Bridge.

However, the former Gers man produced an incredible performance as his side booked their place in the quarter-final of the competition.
Gilmour was brilliant on the ball, and delighted the crowd with some moments of magic – most notably, when he danced past Fabinho with an amazing piece of skill.

He was also willing to get stuck in. And he has arguably staked a claim to feature a lot more often during the remaining months of the campaign.
And of course, a lot of Rangers fans have been left incredibly proud on social media. There is some disappointment that he is not going to realise his potential at Ibrox. But the supporters are delighted to see him do so well south of the border.
And it was suggested that it would be very good news for Rangers if they have a sell-on clause in Gilmour’s deal. He is clearly destined for a fantastic future, and the Gers fans are hoping that they may benefit from a big-money move in years to come.
Here is how some of the Rangers fans reacted to Gilmour’s stunning performance…
Billy Gilmour is the real deal . Breaks me that Rangers won’t have his talents. The one that got away.
