Rangers fans react as West Ham reportedly open talks to sign midfielder

West Ham United have reportedly opened talks to sign Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara, as the Hammers prepare for Europa League football. The Finland international has been excellent for Rangers and impressed at Euro 2020 this summer. Rangers fans have discussed his price tag on Twitter.

Kamara, 25, has been a crucial part of Rangers progress over the last couple of seasons. Joining Rangers for just £50,000 from Dundee after having already signed a pre-contract in January 2019. He has since played 106 times for the Ibrox club, and has got better throughout those games.

This summer, he was excellent for Finland and while they failed to get out of the group – he certainly earned pass marks. Now, report that West Ham are in talks to sign Kamara, contacting Rangers and making an enquiry over a possible fee. Others English clubs are also keen.

What have West Ham fans said about Rangers ace Kamara?

An earlier report from Give Me Sport claims Everton, Arsenal and Brentford are also keeping an eye on Kamara. But how much is Kamara worth? It is an interesting topic, given he only cost £50,000. He has just two years left on his Rangers contract.

Many Rangers fans have reacted to the news on Twitter that West Ham want Kamara. Some spoke about what kind of fee they rate Kamara at, and the majority believe he could go for as much as £15million. It remains to be seen if Kamara wants to leave, given Rangers could be in the Champions League group stages next season.
