Rangers fans react as Sheyi Ojo nears Ibrox move

It looks as though Rangers are ready to bring in the Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo on loan. The 21-year-old was pictured in Glasgow yesterday ahead of a medical at the club.

that the deal is on the verge of being announced and Ojo would certainly be a top recruit considering the promise he has shown in the past.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has previously brought in both Ryan Kent and Ovie Ejaria from his former club.

Kent proved a massive success and Rangers fans are desperate for the winger to return to Ibrox this summer. Ejaria, on the other hand, struggled for consistency at Rangers and decided to exit Ibrox midway through last season.

So the mixed success of Gerrard’s previous dip into the Liverpool loan market has Rangers fans trepidacious but optimistic over the incoming winger.

Ojo struggled for regular football at Stade de Reims in France last season but is considered a top talent at Melwood and Gerrard will be hoping he can find his best form at Rangers.
