A number of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on concerning Nathan Patterson’s Ibrox future.
The 19-year-old is starting to get a few more opportunities for Steven Gerrard’s side. He started the Europa League tie with Lech Poznan in December.

And just a couple of days after featuring in the weekend win over Ross County, that Patterson has signed a new deal at Ibrox.
The contract is set to keep him with the Gers until 2024, extending his previous terms by two years. He faces a tough challenge getting into the side given that he is competing with James Tavernier at right-back.

But many fans clearly think that Patterson is going to play a crucial role for Rangers in the coming years.
He has looked bright when he has been given chances by Gerrard. And the supporters believe that he has an incredibly bright future ahead of him.
Of course, Gerrard will not want his side to even think about winning the title at this stage. But one fan made a very good point that wrapping up the Scottish Premiership crown as soon as possible could be fantastic news for players like Patterson.
That could open the door for the teenager to get more game-time under his belt this season. And judging by the form he has shown so far, there is every reason to believe that he would make the most of any opportunities he does get.
Here is how some of the Rangers fans have reacted to the announcement…
