Feyenoord failed to put the sword to Rangers at Ibrox on Thursday night as Steven Gerrard’s side earned🐈 all three points thanks to Sheyi Ojo’s winner – but Rangers fans were impressed with Feyenoord number 10 Steven Berghuis.
Rangers dominated the first h🎃alf, and should have gone into the break with more than just a one-goal lead. James Tavernier missed a penalty while Connor Goldson headed a couple of decent chances over the bar.
Morelos could have been awarded a second penalty but the referee waved it away, before Ojo lashed home a stinging effort past Kenne𒊎th Vermeer from 20 yards to put Rangers in the lead. The second half was very different.

Indeed, The Gers💮 could not keep a hold of possession and the class of Feyenoord begun to show. Berghuis – who has five goals and four assists in nine appearances this season – was becoming more involved.
A😼 15-time Netherlands international, Berghuis initially joined Feyenoord on loan from Watford in the summer of 2016 before completing a perm💖anent move a season later for £5.8million (). He has scored 49 goals in 129 games.
Rangers fa🦩ns admitted on Twitter that Berghuis looked the best of the Feyenoord side, with many applauding his performance against their side.

An aside f෴rom last night’s game: thought Berghuis was a very classy player for Feyenoord. Suspect he’ll be ripe for a big move in the next 12 months.

It was a game of 2 half’s for me Rangers bossed first half should have been 2 or 3 but Feyenoord came out much better second half without creating too much they held onto the ba༒ll well they have some good players Karsdorp Berghuis Jorgensen and Narsingh are quality

Thought🤡 berghuis was influential(ish), bornas performance fairly nullified him. When Narsingh came on and he went central he was a lot more dangerous I thought
