Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has told that he is desperate to get defender Filip Helander back on the pitch following his injury problems.
The Gers boss was left disgruntled with his defence once again as his team could only draw 2-2 away at St Johnstone.
Celtic have moved 12 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership and the Scottish Cup now looks like Gerrard’s best chance of claiming silverware.

Helander hasn’t played since the Gers lost 1-0 to Celtic in the final of the Scottish League Cup in December.
A foot injury has curtailed the progress of the man who cost Rangers in the summer and Gerrard admits he is missing him.
“I’m going to have to find solutions. I’m going to have to work even harder than we do to find solutions and get back to the basics of defending.
“I need Helander back fit, sharpish. I need to find solutions because we’re conceding too many goals.”
The 26-year-old does have that little bit of quality that Rangers have perhaps lacked defensively of late.
Nikola Katic has looked badly out of form and taking him out of the spotlight could prove ideal if the club can get Helander fit.
Connor Goldson has been a mainstay since Gerrard took over at Ibrox and there aren’t too many concerns over his form.
Form
It would seem that the Croatian would drop out when the big Swede is fit and Rangers need a resurgent run of form from somewhere and fast.

It was thought the club would challenge for the title this season but they now find themselves miles behind.
Gerrard needs to find a winning formula once again and having Helander back would certainly help.
