Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has provided injury updates on four key players ahead of this weekend’s game against Kilmarnock.
Leon Balogun, Joe Aribo, Allan McGregor and Jermain Defoe have all been missing recently with various fitness concerns.
Sadly for the Gers, Gerrard has confirmed that three of them won’t be fit and available for selection tomorrow.
🎙️ SG: Balogun and Aribo won't make the weekend. I think both have a good chance for the following week.
McGregor is back fit after training yesterday, Defoe still won't be seen until after the International break.

Balogun and Aribo are perhaps the biggest losses, with both in fine form before injury struck.
Central defender Balogun signed on a free from Brighton in the summer and looked particularly impressive early doors.
Aribo cost the Gers and boasts matchwinning qualities – he too will represent a big loss to Gerrard’s team.
Defoe hasn’t kicked a ball yet this season and Gerrard confirmed he won’t feature until after the international break.
Gerrard has provided some more positive news, however, stating that goalkeeper Allan McGregor is back in training after his injury concern.
Rangers are yet to concede a goal this season, however, and a place on the bench looks likely for the Scot this weekend.

The Light Blues’ boss also mentioned that both Aribo and Balogun would have a good chance of returning for next weekend’s trip to Hamilton.
Rangers are aiming to stop Celtic making it ten titles in succession this season. As a result, they won’t want these injuries occurring throughout the season.
Gerrard is blessed with a decent squad, however, but Balogun and Aribo are big players for his team.
He will want to ensure he can get his very best players on the pitch as often as possible in a bid to end Celtic’s dominance.
Having his influential duo back next week will be massive but first, he must plot a way to get another three points without them this weekend.
