‘Ran the show’: Some West Brom fans hail ‘brilliant’ player despite Derby draw
West Brom fans endured a disappointing display on Tuesday night as they played out a 0-0 draw with Derby.
However, a few Baggies players emerged with credit at The Hawthorns, in particular Grady Diangana.
The 23-year-old has struggled this season, but Valerien Ismael deployed him on the left and he looked back to his best.

Diangana’s best football for West Brom has come on the left, and this proved the case against the Rams.
His footwork was great and he provided some great deliveries, though sadly his teammates weren’t able to convert them.
Indeed, the Baggies were laying siege to the Derby goal, but the visitors clung on for a point.
Despite the disappointing result, West Brom fans were eager to praise Diangana and hoped for more of the same going forward:
Thought Diangana had his best game for a while Townsend Mowatt Bartley Furlong except for his finishing all played well The less said about K Grant the better WBA

Diangana ran the show tonight if ya don’t agree ya ain’t got eyes

I think Diangana had about as good a performance as you can have as a winger in a 0-0

Should be winning these games at home! So frustrating 😩 Diangana was brilliant though

Created more than enough chances to win. Diangana Class. Fans awful.

A positive, though…

Diangana looked a lot more with it tonight. Hopefully a good sign of things to come.
