Rafa Mir scores stunning hat-trick to remind Wolves of his talent
Wolves’ hunt for a Raul Jimenez replacement took them to Willian Jose this week, as the Brazilian striker arrived at the club on loan from Real Sociedad.
But whilst Wolves were out looking for a new striker one that is already on their books reminded them of his presence just last night.
Rafa Mir scored an impressive hat-trick for La Liga side Huesca in a 3-1 win over Real Valladolid yesterday.
The talented Spaniard powered a header for his first, poked home his second, and bent an effort from the edge of the box for his third in what was an impressive performance.

It took his tally for the season to six goals, with last night’s treble his first goals since November for the struggling Spanish top-flight side.
Speaking after the game, Mir was clearly buoyed by the performance.
“I’m very happy,” he told . “There are many emotions and the work of the people has been rewarded today. This is the line that we must follow, all together with the same idea. From here we continue to grow because we are there in the fight.”
Wolves paid just £1.5 million for his services – beating Real Madrid to the deal. However, with Wolves looking settled, he struggled to make a name for himself in the Midlands.
Despite scoring 15 goals in 19 games for Valencia B, he managed no goals in the four games he played for the Wolves first-team in his debut season at the club.
Loan spells at Las Palmas and Nottingham Forest have followed but Mir has become a firm fan favourite at Huesca.
