Radrizzani backs Leeds fan’s idea on Marcelo Bielsa tribute

Andrea Radrizzani has stated his support on Twitter for the idea of inviting Marcelo Bielsa back later in the season so that the Leeds United fans can say a proper goodbye to the Argentinian.

Of course, it came at a time when the Whites were sliding closer to the bottom three. They had conceded 20 goals in what proved to be his final five games.

Nevertheless, it was not a decision that united the fanbase by any means. And Radrizzani has come in for a lot of criticism for the call. It has proved difficult for many of the supporters, and players, to sum up exactly what Bielsa has meant to them.

And it would perhaps also be fitting if the training ground was named after him given the work he oversaw to transform it.

Leeds play their final home game of the season against Brighton on the penultimate weekend of the season.
