TBR’s view: Vlahovic is ready for Liverpool or Tottenham

Liverpool and Tottenham will face an eyewatering fee to sign Vlahovic, but Corvino is right to back the Serbian thriving. His list of suitors around Europe is also testament to the striker being ready for the step up after a prolific season.

Only Cristiano Ronaldo (29), Romelu Lukaku (24) and Luis Muriel (22) scored more often in the Italian top-flight last term. But Vlahovic played for the lowest-ranked side among the quartet and boasted the highest contribution (45%).

Jurgen Klopp’s Reds hold an advantage, too, as Liverpool and his representatives. And discussing a move to Anfield early could see them sign one of the Serie A’s most exciting young forward.
