QPR reported interest in Izzy Brown could help Leeds in Eberechi Eze hunt – TBR View

Leeds United have been linked with a move for QPR’s Eberechi Eze in this summer’s transfer window and they may have just received a small boost in that pursuit.

The reported mid-July that Leeds are one of the teams interested in signing the 22-year-old playmaker and Argentine manager Marcelo Bielsa specifically picked him out as a target that could add something at Elland Road.

The report explained that QPR value their attacking midfielder at £20million, plus there is interest from Tottenham, West Ham and Crystal Palace too in him.

QPR are expected to stand firm over their talisman to try drive his price tag up to get a substantial transfer fee, but perhaps interested parties have now been given a boost in the race for his signature.

has claimed that QPR are interested in Chelsea’s 23-year-old creator Izzy Brown, who has just returned to Stamford Bridge from a Championship loan spell at Luton.

He is an attacking midfielder that plays in the number 10 role like Eze, which suggests that Mark Warbuton’s side are already looking for a replacement.

Eze’s exit from West London is looking increasingly more likely now, so Leeds must not hang around and seize the opportunity to try sign the talented Englishman.

Bielsa’s team were a serious force that charged towards the Championship title, but will need to improve again ahead of a season in the top-flight and Eze looks like he will fit the attack-minded system at Elland Road very well.

He finished the most recent season with 14 goals and eight assists across all competitions for an average QPR team.
