‘Pure Magic’: Adrian and Moreno reply to Roberto Firmino’s Instagram after Liverpool win
Adrian and former Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno were amongst those to send messages to Roberto Firmino on Instagram after the Reds’ victory over Sheffield United on Sunday.
Firmino is one of the players who seems to have come in for plenty of criticism recently. The 29-year-old had not scored in his previous six games leading up to the trip to Bramall Lane.
Technically, his wait for a goal continues. However, it is certainly fair to say that Liverpool would not have got a second goal in the 2-0 win without him.
The Brazilian produced a superb run inside the box to create some space as several Blades players crowded around him. His effort was then diverted into the back of the net by Kean Bryan for the visitors’ second.
The moment of brilliance has the potential to act as a real turning point for Firmino. And it could be a win that is looked back upon as being extremely significant should the Reds get themselves back into the top four. They are now just two points off West Ham.

Adrian summed the goal quite nicely, with his message translating as: ‘Pure magic … a lot of quality little brother’.
Meanwhile, Moreno simply put: ‘You are very good brother’.
