Pundit stunned by what he saw Liverpool player doing recently

Jamie O’Hara has now commented on what he saw from Liverpool No.66 Trent Alexander-Arnold in recent days.

The England international has been in the headlines lately, to say the least.

Alexander-Arnold is being strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid when his contract at Liverpool expires in July 2025, with some in the England camp even believing the Liverpool No.66’s friendship with Jude Bellingham could lure him to the Santiago Bernabeu.

So, what has Jamie O’Hara now said about Trent Alexander-Arnold? Let’s take a look…

Jamie O’Hara reacts after seeing Trent Alexander-Arnold sign Real Madrid shirt

The 24-year-old did little to quash talk of him moving to Madrid after he was photographed signing a Real Madrid shirt.

Speaking about that on talkSPORT, O’Hara : “I saw him sign a Real Madrid shirt the other day. That is poor, that. I am not having that. You can’t be having that, Trent. You can’t be signing Real Madrid shirts when you are a Liverpool player. Nah. Nah. Nah. I am not having that. I think he will be out of Liverpool. I think he might go to Real Madrid.”

Talk about an overreaction.

Footballers sign all kinds of shirts nowadays, and we feel confident in saying that a sensationalistic pundit such as O’Hara would have still criticised Alexander-Arnold had he refused to sign the child’s Real Madrid jersey.

It was a situation in which the Liverpool academy graduate could not win either way, in our view at least.

How Arne Slot is planning to keep England international at Liverpool

Arne Slot actually has a plan to keep Alexander-Arnold at Liverpool, according to Ben Jacobs.

It is said that the Dutchman intends to include the man from West Derby in the main leadership group at Anfield, and a chat is expected to take place between the pair soon.

Jacobs Give Me Sport: “Alexander-Arnold will hold talks with Slot. The Liverpool manager has already decided on where he will play and wants to make him part of the leadership team, which will help with any new deal discussions.

“Slot is expected to share more details about Trent’s role after they have spoken face-to-face but has remained coy for now. Liverpool are calm despite Real Madrid’s interest.”

Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as rumours involving Alexander-Arnold and Real Madrid refuse to settle down.
