Pundit says £40m Tottenham player kept getting embarrassed in FA Cup clash against Tamworth

Tottenham endured a tough afternoon in the FA Cup clash against Tamworth.

Spurs struggled to trouble the National League outfit at the Lamb Ground – with Tamworth arguably enjoying the better goalscoring opportunities in the opening 45 minutes t♌hanks to the impressive throwing ability of Tom Tonks.

James Maddison did – in fairness – come close on several occasions, but overall, it was a poor display from Tottenham in this FA Cup third round clash, one that will have concerned Ange Postecoglou undoubtedly.

Lack of attacking inventiveness aside, one Spurs star also struggled defensively up against Beck-Ray Besongbap Enoru in Pedro Porro.

Stephen Warnock says Pedro Porro could not handle Beck-Ray Besongbap Enoru

Fo💞r a Spain international who cost Spurs back in January 2023, many would have expected 👍Porro to make light work of Tamworth.

However, the Tottenham No.23 himself looওked like a Nationa💙l League player in that opening 45 minutes, as Enoru troubled the right-back on several occasions.

The 22-year-old even left Porro chasing shadows in the opening 30 seconds, forcing Antoni🍌n Kinsky into a smart save after drivi🎶ng an effort towards the top corner.

Commentating on the game for Radio 5 👍Live, Stephen Warnock said: “Enoru has got the beating of Pedro Porro every single time. He is happy to go inside or outside.”

Life didn’t get much easier for the Spaniard in🍰 the second half, as the talented Tamworth winger managed to get the man born in Don Benito booked after a fine dribble.

Porro, who Ruben Amorim adores, is used to playing against superstars such as Mohamed Salah, 💮Cole Palmer, Bruno Fernandes and Erling Haaland in the Premier League.

However, the 25-year-old was 💙actually given a tough ti🥃me by a Sales Assistant at Zara in Enoru.

The Tamworth No.22 may well be able to give up his career in retail soon enough if he keeps delivering performances like this, having impressed hugely against a seasoned international in Porro, who Real Madrid admire.
