Pundit lauds ‘absolutely incredible’ Arsenal player despite frustrating Brighton draw
Arsenal went into the international break on a sour note, with many fans feeling that they were largely robbed of three points during their clash with Brighton at the Emirates on Saturday.
Of course, the main talking point coming out of the game was the decision to send Declan Rice off during the se💫cond-half after he kicked the ball away as Joel Veltman attempted to take a free-kick. It is safe to say𓃲 that the atmosphere inside the Emirates♓ changed significantly from there, particularly as Brighton went on to bag an equaliser.
Arsenal had been in control for the large majority of the game up until the red card, and looked to be on course to secure the tꦆhree points against a very decent Seagulls side.
Obviously, the high point during the first-half came when Bukayo Saka managed to win the ball back before playing Kai Havertz in. With the ball bouncing and the goalkeeper rushing out, Havertz deliciously lifted his effort into the bꦆack of the net.
Arsenal star has developed into one of the best in his position
Martin Keown felt that Havertz was magnificent during the draw, but perhaps the German deserves a lot more credit for his recent form. Speakiꦦng🍬 on ESPN after the game, Janusz Michallik claimed that the 25-year-old has developed into one of the most impressive forwards around right now.
“He has been absolutely incredible. We have looked at him in so many different ways in his time at Chelsea and Arsenal, you know, I am trying to find a place for him in terms o🅰f his position and how good he is and he isn’t, he has been absolutely outstanding,” he said.

“He is growing into his role. I think he is one of the best out there. I don’t look at him as a number nine truly, but in h𓆏is time at Leverkusen and so far at Arsenal and Chelsea, I think he has been absolutely amazing.”
Why Kai Havertz may now be under more pressure than any other Gunners player
Perhaps no Arsenal player 😼is under greater pressure this season than Havertz now that the summer transfer window is behind us.
For much of last season, there was a debate surrounding whether Havertz would be the striker who could f🍌ire Arsenal to the Premier League title. Obviously, they missed out on the title, but Havertz was superb during the second-half of the campaign. But the Gunners still took a gamble.
Raheem Sterling did sign on loan, but Arsenal did not sign an out and out striker during the window, which is an indication that Mikel Arteta🔯 sees Havertz being able to fire Arsenal to the title. No position in the side seems to lack depth like the striker spot.
It is a huge season for the club after two clos💞e calls in the race. A third near-miss may perhaps lead to serious questions surrounding whether Arteta is going to be able to end Arsenal’s wait for a league crown, so this squad has got a massive task on its෴ hands – and Havertz will need to enjoy a phenomenal year.
