Pundit furious after seeing Jamie O’Hara’s reaction to Tottenham’s loss last night

Tottenham vs Manchester City may go down as one of the strangest games in Premier League history.

Many Spurs fans headed into this game actively wanting their team to lose in order to deny Arsenal the chance to win the Premier League title this weekend.

For such a big game, TalkSPORT aired a live watch along , and when City went 2-0 up, Jamie O’Hara, a Tottenham supporter, celebrated like a madman.

As you can imagine, this rubbed a few people up the wrong way, and in the heat of the moment, Perry Groves was far from happy.

Groves had a real dig at O’Hara after he celebrated his own team conceding.

“I hate you. I can’t imagine what it’s like to be one of those fans. Look at you. You’re like a big child. It’s embarrassing,” Groves said.

Tottenham’s situation was strange

Tottenham fans were in a bizarre situation on Tuesday, and it’s hard to blame any Spurs supporter who was rooting for Manchester City.

Yes, you should always want your team to win every game, but, at the same time, if Spurs had handed the league title to Arsenal, that would’ve been bragging rights secured in north London for years to come.

Arsenal famously won the league at White Hart Lane in the 2000s, and that is still brought up to this day, and if Spurs had, basically, won Arsenal the title on Tuesday, that would never have been forgotten.

Champions League football next season is important, but, let’s be honest, Spurs aren’t in any fit state to win that competition, so, ultimately, it would’ve been forgotten within a few months, but, if Arsenal won the league due to a Tottenham victory, that would’ve lived forever in the memory of these two fanbases.
