‘He looks quicker’: Wright-Phillips says one Tottenham player’s pace has increased since Conte took over
Harry Kane looks to be getting into the swing of things more and more under Antonio Conte and according to Shaun Wright-Phillips, is actually looking quicker.
Kane scored again in midweek at Brighton to continue his fine run of form of late. The England skipper endured a slow start to the campaign but overall, his stats are once again shaping up nicely. Kane now has goals in all competitions, including seven in his last six.

And former Manchester City and England winger Wright-Phillips believes that Kane is feeling the effects of Conte’s management, but in a positive way.
“He looks a lot more mobile. He looks fitter. He actually looks quicker to be honest. What Conte has been doing with him all this time is finally now feeling the benefits of it and it’s helping him with his performances and confidence,” Wright-Phillips said on the .
With Heung-Min Son and Dejan Kulusevski playing in and around him, Kane has shown he is more than just a focal point for Spurs in attack. Indeed, his play when dropping deep into the midfield has caught the eye just as much.

And what a time to be hitting such form. Tottenham are still in the mix for the top four despite their inconsistent form and Conte deserves credit for getting the best from Kane.
Kane is playing with freedom and confidence and looks like being the striker we all know he is once more. For Spurs, this could prove the difference in making the top four or not.
Indeed, Brighton boss Graham Potter noted Kane’s excellence in midweek, the England skipper as ‘outstanding’ for his performance at the AMEX.
